The Science Group is responsible for managing the science programs and in particular the Legacy Survey – a large program of ~500 CFHT nights dedicated to the 2 main science topics of SPIRou.
The Science Group is chaired by the Project Scientist assisted by a co-chair and collectively managed by the heads of the local science groups in the various institutes involved in SPIRou. The full SPIRou science team includes ~100 scientists from 7 countries.
